Hi exchangers,
As you can see gastronomy to me means: sweet things
Well, after a long time of quite easy questions I had to ask you something more difficult, or I will run out of ideas.
These delicious things you see on the picture belong to our best traditional sweets. They also have a very ‘interesting name’. So, give me the Portuguese name for them and for fun you can translate it into English. Good luck!

Well, the name of this must be: “Sweets, my exchange colleagues have never shown me” Shame on them

I’m afraid none of you gave me the right answer. In fact, in Aveiro, we have ‘Ovos moles’ that are quite similar to these ones, but this is something different.
Keep on trying
Don’t give up!

I don’t know what it could be…but I found something with an interesting name: Papo de Anjo, which means angel’s double chin
That one also has lot of eggs in it.

You’re getting close, but I’m afraid these are not ‘Papos de Anjo’. In fact the ingredients are similar but the way of cooking is different. As you find out the name I’ll give you both recipes

Hi exchangers,
congratulations for your effort
In fact you discovered almost all the recipes that are similar to this one. The real name is “Barriga de freira” – ‘belly nun’.
It would be very difficult for you to find out this name because this recipe has got many different presentations.
Next time I promise it won’t be so difficult.
Have a nice week!
